Greetings from Chile, to begin this questionnaire, let’s start this stuff!
Which is the year of the creation of Lux Nigrum?
At the beginning of the 2014, as I work myself doing songwriting and everything itself to Lux Nigrum I delayed in order to record and edit official material.
What is the philosophy of Lux Nigrum?
Anti-cosmic magic, liberation from the shackles of earthly life through the magic act and the expansion of consciousness (gnosis). That is the foundation philosophy LN, but also to explore and capture the mysticism of magic itself, the forgotten art. All this based on their own practice and understanding, Lux Nigrum is a magical and real act of devotion.
How would you define the sound of Lux Nigrum?
Noisy and chaotic Black Metal.
What does your name? (Frater Azerate)
Azerate is a representation of 11 anticosmic gods, salve!
How was the recording process of Primordial Chaos?
First of all had a deal with another stamp where they would be responsible for recording and everything that it consists of this, but as usual it did not happen, Then I started to rehearse and composing the songs that form the first demo, with this ready I got in touch with my brother Alexis V. de Nyarlathotep who he had the necessary equipment to record, edit and mastering this black work, without doubt take what is necessary and trip to Quintero (Quinta Región) and we recorded everything in a couple of hours, absolute ritual.
Where do you find the inspiration to write the lyrics and music?
Primordial Chaos is a very raw and savage work, I would like to clarify that LN is not limited in its sound, when composing i am inspired by the great school of Black Metal that exists from the 80' to the present 2015 E.V. from very raw works like Herxsebet, Darkthrone, Vlad Tepes and Mütiilation, to something more polished now as Volahn or Emperor with its blackest works. The lyrics of the demo were based in LIBER AZERATE and the great revelation that gave me.
What are your main influences?
None specific to be honest, I try to create music with the things that I know and I can do at the time, nothing more.
Apart from you: What another person takes part in Lux Nigrum?
For now, I am the only member, Frater Azerate, my brother from Kur Extorquere/Ars Sigillum Manifesto helped me with the drums, I'm looking for a drummer to play in live rituals here and make noise in this ridiculous scene in Chile
Are Frater Azerate involved in another project?
I'm currently editing my Fanzine Fuego Negro, I am working on the second number next to my comrade Peyo from Inner Rotten/Ataúd. Also have my solo project of noise experimental MTS M with a influence inexorable to chaos.
What you inspired to create Lux Nigrum?
The need to make my own music, to mark and to do part of my transcendency in what they can hear in Lux Nigrum that being pure savagery is at the same time, spiritual music.
